zkLink: Institutional Report

zkLink: Abbreviated Introduction

The blockchain industry is becoming a diverse multi-chain space, with different chains for different use cases offering unique advantages regarding privacy, security, fees, and scalability. Even so, tokens are isolated on disparate blockchains, and decentralized finance (DeFi) projects and users
must deal with complex cross-chain transfers that can reduce the enthusiasm to engage with a project, while DeFi projects have to deal with the challenge of onboard and retaining active users and suffer from low fund utilization rates.

zkLink envisions a seamless multi-chain DeFi space. The project claims to allow developers to build upon a unified, multi-chain, multi-purpose Layer-2 network secured by zero-knowledge technology. The project uses zk-SNARK to verify cross-chain transactions with circuits and an oracle network.

The project currently supports Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, and Avalanche, with plans to support Solana, Starknet, Arbitrum, and Optimism in the future.

The project’s mainnet launch has been postponed and is currently operating on Testnet M5. It has not announced a native protocol token.

Located in Singapore, zkLink has been supported by multiple investors. It is made possible with the help of a team of engineers and specialists worldwide.
